John W. Olson
Vice President, Advanced Engineering Technologies

Mr. Olson brings over 42 years of Military and Civilian Intelligence Community Engineering Management experience to BCT, where he is responsible for Advanced Engineering Technologies. Mr. Olson's previous government experience includes management of large Information Technology (IT) organizations, Program Manager of several large Agency support initiatives, and development of advanced High Performance Computing (HPC) systems.

As the Technical Director of the NSA Directorate of Acquisition, Mr. Olson chaired the Agency Configuration Control Board and the Risk Management Board. As the Deputy Chief of the GROUNDBREAKER Program Office, he developed a comprehensive business case to support the Director's decision to outsource IT infrastructure support. As the Chief of Systems in the Defense Special Missile and Astronautics Center (DEFSMAC) and later in the National Security Operations Center (NSOC), he provided essential communications and computer support to 24-hour real-time military operations around the world.

Mr. Olson is DAWIA III certified and holds a BS and MS degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri at Rolla. He is also a graduate of the National Senior Cryptologic Course, Joint Space Intelligence Operations Policy Course, and Electronic Warfare Cryptologic Officer Course.
